Wireless Sensor Network(WSN), is in the rapid evelopment and widely applied tomany fields in recent years due to its low, cost low power consumption and so on.This thesis focuses on the design method of low power consumption and small sizeWSN node based on ZigBee protoeol. The main research work and aehievements ofthe thesis are as follows:Firstly WSN ZigBee protoeol is researehed in detail. The arehitecture and eachlayer’s function of ZigBee Protoeol are analyzed and a node design method based onZigBee Protoeol is proposed.Seeondly, design methods of WSN node are discussed. CC2431RF chip and51mieroprocessor are chosen as the main chips, and their features and performanceare described in detail. Further more design methods of eaeh module circuit areintroduced.Thirdly, the function of each module and network-forming program in thedesigned System are studied. Application programs of the node are proposed, Thefunctions of sensor temperature data acquisition and wireless communication areimplemented in the system, and double nodes network is formed based on ZigBeeprotoeol.Lastly, the performance and application of the designed node are tested andanalyzed. Experimental results show that the designed node can eommunicate easily,has strong ability of ant-interference, low power consumption and forming networkstable. Therefore, the results have proved that the proposed method in the thesis iseffective and advanced.
