Research And Design Of Remote Education Platform Based On Web Services

With the development of Internet technology becoming more and more mature, remote education has been paid more and more attention by people. It provides a very good learning platform for people who wish to continue their further education, but is limited by time or space.Remote education is a new way of teaching, it breaks through the traditional teaching mode. Moreover, it creates learning environment that the students can learn independently and creatively. It uses Internet as a media, through a cable, a laptop that can learn on the Internet. At present, distance education based-on WEB is more convenient, flexible and efficient and has become an important way of modern education.This paper first analyzes the present situation of the remote education in domestic and foreign research.According to its characteristics and existing problems, it puts forward the design scheme of remote education platform based-on Web service technology.Then the related technologies of the Web Services were further studied, combined with the J2EE platform. It has adopted include database system, the client and the server three-layer architecture of Browser/Server model,and has designed the system’s overall framework.And then, to the overall design of system, the paper determine the system’s main function modules and the overall business process, using the unified modeling language (UML) for modeling system. Finally, we make detailed design and implementation of remote education platform using Web Services technology, and make a test for it.
