With the rapid development of technology, including communication device, computer integrated and embedded technique. Wireless Sensor Network as the multi-field cross-disciplinary become one of hot topic, it also attract many domestic and foreign scholars’ and researchers’ attention. The coverage problem is the fundamental problem in wireless sensor network(WSN), It still as a key problem for researchers. The problem refers to all the sensor nodes can monitor the target with seamless, so as to gather information. The algorithm of coverage not only affects the quality of network, also include the energy, life cycle and quality of service and other important indicators. Therefore, the overage research in WSN has important theoretical significance and application value.Based on the premise of redundant deployment, the paper research the coverage problem. It focus on the how to schedule sensor nodes in the network, so that it can ensure the quality of network coverage at the same time, extend the network life cycle. Based on the analysis of existing solutions on the proposed determination mechanism based on redundant nodes in the mesh, defines two types of redundant nodes, and gives the corresponding method for determining, on this basis, this paper discusses the classic node scheduling algorithm defects, according to the judgment based on redundant node grid nodes mechanisms proposed a new scheduling strategy that simultaneously considering energy consumption through two rounds of judging mechanism to close redundant nodes in the network, so that of sleep and sleep according to a random node can automatically wake up sleep time, check if there are worker nodes within the target area of its coverage, such as the existence continue to sleep, and vice versa, then enter the working state. Experimental results show that the proposed scheduling policy node can without blind also effectively determine the redundant nodes in the network, reducing the number of nodes in the network, extend the network lifetime and improve the quality of network coverage.
