With developing of virtualization technology, which cannot be summed up by systemvirtualization and network virtualization technology also receives widespread attention, andits isolation customizable, security and customizable features have get more and morepeople’s trust. Its own problems have been well solved, such as pre-copy, packet cachingtechnology and so on, reducing the cost of a virtual machine migration, promoting thewidespread use of virtual machine migration technology. For example, applied virtualizationtechnology,cluster/cloud computing environments with high resource utilization, easymanagement and maintenance, high reliability, can flexibly deploy and managehigh-performance computing environments---virtual cluster.Virtualization technology provides flexible means for resource management system. Andvirtual machine migration technology in the field of resource management scheduling loadbalancing, fault tolerance, online maintenance, energy management plays a major role. But inreality, making good use of virtual machine migration technology for dynamic management ofresources, we must understand the characteristics of the workload itself in order to obtainbenefits. For example, web services have the characteristic of high level concurrent rate andrequire high speed on network transport for the service level arguments. and also, the paralleljob which is placed on the virtual cluster, there are so many connections between its subjobs,at the beginning, the parallel job starts with all the subjobs are ready, and when all of them arecompleted, the parallel job is finished. During the operating time, the subjobs will send manymessage or signal with each for the consistency or data passing. All of the information wetalked above, the system administrator should pay a attention for a better plan on the dailywork. Most research work at this stage simply to target resource utilization migrate, but whenvirtual machines are deployed in the cluster/cloud computing environment, it is likely tocause fragmentation of resources, and it’s difficult to apply directly to the virtual clusterenvironment. In this paper, from the perspective of the virtual cluster running parallel operations, werethink the virtual machine migration strategy, develop a corresponding virtual machinemigration strategy in virtual resource consolidation scenarios. Concerned about the cluster/cloud computing environments own characteristics, parallel jobs interactivity and othercharacteristics. Firstly, constructed the system model for algorithm implementationenvironment and conducted reasonable assumption instructions. Secondly, used the divide andconquer method reduce the size of fragment minimization problem in heterogeneous environments, which significantly reduces the difficulty of the problem. Finally, in thissub-domains isomorphic environment, proposed the virtual machine migration strategy withvirtual cluster as the axis. During test phase, briefly analysis the reasons of system resourcestatus, use the allocation method with the same kind of load and various resources simulateresource use status quo. Adjusting the parameters can well simulate real data. Theoreticallyvirtual cluster as the axis of virtual machine migration strategy, will increase constraints onthe original problem which making the results of the current environment is not optimal, evenmore than the result of a simple virtual machine for the greedy method to get the unit alsoslightly worse, But long term, virtual clusters are "compact", and the more orderly distributionrelease of system resources, results will in favor of virtual resource consolidation.
