Plan And Design Of CMNET For Network Capacity Expansion

In recent years, with the development of3G/4G communication technology ofChina Mobile, the mobile users grow rapidly, the scale of the mobile terminalincreasingly expanded. The demand of communication bandwidth and business aregrowing. As the new technology and net equipment update, and the change of thebroadband user structure, operators will face great challenge and opportunities inincreasing the service and introducing new technology, etc. The major operators seethe huge market potential of mobile communication and Internet, thus increase theinvestment in expanding mobile terminal users, training broadband consumer groups,introducing communication technology and innovate business continually, in orderto reduce the pressure of competition and the operating risk. At present, compared toother operators, the China Mobile network exist many problems, such as theconstruction time of network is late, the scale is small, lack the resources, noadvantage in access network resources, which failed to attract enough sufficientservice providers to provide services. According to the development situation of themarket, aiming at the existing problems, China Mobile company starts to plan anddesign for expanding capacity on provincial network and metropolitan area network,to meet the development needs of Internet, network business and the demand ofconsumers.In this paper, we developed a plan and design for the expansion of the Jilinprovince CMNET network, and completed the expansion of the link bandwidth andthe core routing in province network. Firstly, this paper introduced the development trend of mobile communicationand the Internet in recent years. The demand for broadband services and the researchstatus of the network expansion at home and abroad were summarized. It alsoanalyzed the existing problem of CMNET network, leading to the necessity ofCMNET network expansion.Secondly, the key technologies of CNMET were analyzed, the global Internetarchitecture was introduced, it also analyzed the three layers of the CMNET networkconstruction and the features and functions of each layer in existing network. Thispaper discussed the types of business that CMNET network carried and the leveldivision of the network planning.Then, based on the current network, this paper made a plan for each layer ofnetwork structure and the bandwidth in the network of Jilin Province. It introducedthe principle of network planning and the network topology, the key parameters ofexpansion for the core/convergence layer and the access layer were planed.According to the characteristics of the network protocol, this paper also made a planabout routing equipment and routing protocol in the network in detail, and gave aplan for the recovery of the network fault and network security.Finally, this paper designed the network expansion project. According to thedesign principle of the network expansion, this paper designed the parametersinvolved in the access layer and the core/convergence layer of the expandingnetwork, then calculated the required link bandwidth and the number of equipment.This paper analyzed the needed resources of the expansion project.
