The information management system of the mechanical school in this paper isdesigned with our school characteristics and the existing management system, it notonly retains the traditional functions but also proposes some new functions. So thenew system has more pertinence and effectiveness, and it can realize informationmanagement for our school work very well. At the same time, when the informationis stored in the daabase, it can be easy to query the historical information and toorganize the data of information management can be increased, the satandardizationeasily, and the assessment and analysis in accordance with the situation of teachingand student management can be complemented.The system is implemented by ASP.NET, SQL Server and are C#. Inaccordance with requirements of the software engineering,the demand analysis,general design, detailed design, implementation and testing of the system arecomplemented by the structured programming method. The system is based on B/Sarchitecture that is a three layer (client layer,business layer and data layer). Userscan realize information browsing through a browser on a Web server, and can accessdatabase through a Web server to complete the various operation tasks of data. Thisdesign can make the system has high security and reliability.In this paper, the academic and student information management system ofmechanical school is researched and designed by the application of the mechanicschool information management. Many mainly functions are implemented such asthe user login management, basic information management, academic informationmanagement, information inquiry management, user rights management.
