Microwave output window has a direct effect on high power microwave system’s vacuum sealing, power capacity, Longevity and reliability. In the process of the microwave output window development, In order to prevent the microwave output window damage and improve the power capacity. People research the structure and materials of the microwave output window ceaselessly and has made certain progress.Due to the advantage of high power radial line array antenna in the aspect of high power microwave than traditional antenna with light quality, small volume, High power microwave source finally must adopt multiple microwave sources lock the frequency superposition, antenna array has a high directivity, and easy to realize the antenna of high gain, high efficiency, high power and circular polarized radiation. So the radial line array antenna get more and more widely used in high power. In order to further increase the power capacity of high-power radial line array antenna, improve and optimize the topological structure of high-power radial line array antenna. It is necessary to design a high power microwave output window suitable for the radial line array antenna.Firstly the paper describes the historical background of the high power microwave output window. To study microwave output window of previous scholars’research. Found that the processing seal are not suitable for high-power radial line array antenna, because of structure or application area.
