In the important area of research such as Internet of Things, big data and cloud computing, as the basis data the collection and upload of source data is very important. Gateway node will play this role in wireless sensor networks, its data transmission task is the core of the entire wireless sensor networks, so its role is crucial. But with the increase of real-time data transmission requirements for wireless sensor networks, the rapid growth of data volume, diverse data types, such as improved stability requirements, the gateway node as the transit point for data transmission urgently need to make the appropriate adjustments to adapt to the new era needs. On the other hand, many applications require long-distance transmission of data through the wireless network, so let the wireless sensor network access to the Internet is an inevitable trend, and also the development of the access way to the heterogeneous networks from a single network towards multi networks.Firstly, based of the idea of wireless sensor network gateway access heterogeneous network, put forward a gateway system based on the Android platform, and gives specific programs for data transmission, through close integration of multi-channel gateway and heterogeneous networks this paper achieved the design of multi-channel data transmission system. This paper gives a detailed explanation of the overall system design, hardware design and software implementation. In the design of system hardware and software we use modular design ideas, making coordination between the different modules together to complete the data transfer tasks.Then, the current technology solutions for gateway access to the Internet are mainly Wi-Fi, GPRS, CDMA,3G, Ethernet, etc. These technologies have their own advantages and disadvantages, so choose a different occasions or certain kinds of appropriate technical solutions becomes the focus of current research on access technology. Although the design of existing gateway node has joined the multi network integration transmission, but few have taken into account the performance of the entire gateway node, including throughput, packet loss rate, power consumption and cost overhead, etc., and a lack of deep research for choosing multi-network switching method. Therefore, this paper introduces the concept of the sensor node weights, standing on the point of different weights of sensor nodes require different transmission strategies, for the purpose of upload data to Internet, proposed a framework for heterogeneous network access gateway, and in this framework, considering the throughput, power consumption and cost of access three aspects, proposed a multi-objective optimization model, then give a heuristic approximation algorithm.By testing the overall performance of the system, proof that the gateway system can access to the heterogeneous network through multiple channels and can transmit data stably. And under the gateway system reliably data transmission and energy consumption stability, improved the data transmission efficiency and reduce the cost of access to heterogeneous network, provides a reliable program for gateway access to heterogeneous network data transmission.
