As an important part of engineering education teaching, experiment is very important to cultivate students’ability to solve practical problems. In recent years, by the increase of the number of students, school equipment have been unable to meet the need for students to make a experiment.To solve this problem,"virtual experiment" based on virtualization technology arises at the historic moment.The emergence of virtual experiment makes students can not affected by time, space, and the limitation of the traditional teaching mode, student can log in the experimental environment which is same as the real equipment, and also it doesn’t have to worry about trial and error cause impact to the experimental equipment. This not only improves the students’practical ability, but also can achieve the effect of resource sharing, and for the school to save a lot of high equipment investment, site construction fund as well as the equipment daily maintenance and management costs.Point at the experimental requirements for the computer communication network curriculum in our school, this research has the early developed "remote virtual experiment platform" and has been put into use. This topic on the basis of the further research and explore a kind of virtual experiment method based on the concept of "cloud", studied under the environment of cloud virtual networking technology, put forward the "virtual routing based on vSphere management and distribution". Aimed at solving the existing in the virtual network system network topology structure and the experiment steps fixed "problem, make the number of network routers and experimental steps can be set on demand, and to further achieve the effect of the real network.In this article, the main content can be divided into three parts. The first part: elaborated the concept of virtualization technology, technical method, structure framework and its research status at home and abroad, at the same time, deep studied cloud operating system based on virtualization technology, the basic concept of vSphere architecture and key technologies, in order to complete the virtual routing based on vSphere laid the foundation for the design of a management and distribution system; The second part:on the vSphere cloud operating systems, and on the basis of the research and analysis of virtual routing is proposed based on vSphere virtual routing management and distribution system’s overall framework, and described its execution logic, also,we designed the virtual routing based on vSphere management and distribution system of system architecture;The third part: the research of virtual experiment platform and the operating system, on the basis of related technology research, set up a system based on vSphere cloud operating system environment, to deploy the virtual routing management and allocation of system resources retrieval, management and other modules.In this article, the design and research to the virtual experiment platform provides a new train of thought and new method, on the basis of the existing "virtual experiment platform", by adding the function of resource management and allocation which based on vSphere cloud operating system, implements the network router to according to its need,.The experimental effect is more real. Students only need to choose the appropriate routing resource configuration, performance and marketable by itself can achieve flexible freedom network, to break the fixed model of experiment.
