The laser scanning measurement is a non-contact measurement technology,can protect the analyte from damage for maximum, realize nondestructive testing, it has a good application prospect in many respects such as industrial test, workpiece inspection, precious cultural relics digital, and it has become one of the most active direction of research today. The traditional system of the laser scanning measuring is the three coordinate measuring machine, this system is not only bulky, but also very heavy, when we use we need put object to be tested on the work surface, and often has a strict rules on the volume of objects, as a result these inconvenient things limit the system in actual use, can’t realize portable use. So this article designs a portable3D laser scanning measuring system. The main research content of this paper is as follows:Using DSP—MS320DM6437as the core parts of the system of video image processing unit and using the laser triangulation principle to detect the surface of objects, realize nondestructive testing, and give the measurement results through the PC in the first time. This paper mainly study on system parameter calibration and the method to extract the center line of the laser, Through extensive comparison, Use the method of Tsai two-step to certain the camera calibration, and extract the center of laser line by the method of OSTU threshold and least square fitting, improve the operation speed and precision of the system. The system is easy to carry, convenient and flexible to use, high precision and has good application value.
