Spread spectrum communication technology is one of the three big mainstream communication technologies in today’s society, and it is vary useful both in the military field and civilian field. The stand or fall of spread spectrum code performance directly affects the whole performance of spread spectrum communication system, therefore, how to produce a kind of spread spectrum code which has superior performance and easy to produce or copy,has long been a focus of research scholars. Chaotic system has extreme sensitivity to initial value and strong randomness, chaotic sequence has better correlation and higher security than the traditional chaotic sequence (e.g., m sequence, Gold sequence) and has enough code group using in the spread spectrum communication system.Based on a fourth order hyperchaos system,the author proposes a new five order hyperchaos system,which has more complex dynamical behavior and stronger randomness,then make a simulation for this system based on the matlab;Design the circuit of the system,and then make a simulation for the system based on the multisim. Design a new fractional order hyperchaos on the basis of the above five order hyperchaos.and make a numerical simulation for it by using to methods based on the matlab;Design the cicuit of the fractional order hyperchaos system and make a simulation for it using the multisim.Generates a kind of fractional order hyperchaos sequence by the binarization of the fractional order hyperchaos system’s output. Calculated the characteristic of correlation, balance and run length of the fractional order hyperchaos sequence,and then compares them with some kinds of sequences generated by different chaotic map.Uses the fractional order hyperchaos sequence as the spread spectrum code of the spread spectrum communication,and studies synchronization control methods of this spread spectrum code,and make a simulation for thespread spectrum communication system using the matlab platform.Analysis and simulation results show that the fractional order hyperchaos sequence is very suitable for application in spread spectrum communication.
