This paper analysis and optimize the important parameters of adaptive optical system’s some parts, find the reasonable method and basis to determine the best parameters. Then do some simulations to prove those methods are reasonable.At the beginning of paper introduce the background of AO system. Summary the cause of atmosphere turbulence and that mathematical model.Summed up a fast calculation of Zernike polynomial coefficients, and use this method to simulate wave-front which is affected by atmosphere turbulence.At the part of AO system optimization, mainly do the following works.(1) Summary method to determine the best number of sub-aperture. Analysis and compare sub-apertures’ sampling accuracy with different shape and layout; Determine the proportion of sub-aperture spot size and CCD pixel can make H-S wave-front detector’s dynamic range and sensitivity in the best working condition.(2)In wave-front control unit, base on traditional mode method summary the block wave-front reconstruction method.(3) In the wave-front correction unit, do simulation of sub-apertures with different drive and relative layout. Through contrasting wave-front residual error and layout, to simulate and analysis on deformable mirror’s Gaussian index and cross-linking value. Summary the best layout and Gaussian index and cross-linking value.
