The location services play an important role in the military, the business and life, such as through wireless location technology, enterprise managers can control personnel.or items of the position in real time. The appearance of the global positioning system (GPS) make the wireless location accuracy heightened by a large margin, solving a lot of practical problems of the military and civil, but when object is located in a building, its precision significantly is reduced,and the complexity and cost of the GPS positioning is high. Indoors, due to the environmental conditions is too complex, now the indoor location system has been researched and developed,although location accuracy had increased, but are not yet fully able to meet the requirements of the customers in the performance of location time, location accuracy,equipment complexity and so on.This article designs a kind of enterprise assets location system, based on Chirp Spread Spectrum (CSS) and active tag,so as to make the enterprise can realize indoor/outdoor personnel or items of target application and unified location management, improving the location the performance of the system. First, by comparing with the advantages and disadvantages of existing location method, this paper chooses a kind of the right localization method, the SDS-TWR method; Secondly, based on the location system and power consumption of delay, a data collection network topology of the location system is designed and implemented; Then, a RSSI-SDSTWR mixed ranging estimate algorithm is here presented to estimate the true distance of the target node and anchor node, to a certain extent, reduceing varieties of ranging errors, which include random error of hardware systems and ranging jitter caused by the movement of person and objects, and location accuracy is also improved;Finally, the location upper and lower computer software system and3D scene is developed and implimented, and by testing different scenarios, some performance index information is collected in order to help the late work.Test results show that the system design is expected to reach requirements.
