| Today,atmospheric pollution is increasing,and the weather of fog and haze also appeares frequently.They bring much inconvenience to human’s visual and image processing.This paper will combine image enhancement methods and quality assessment to make a series of study about how to clear color image in the weather of fog and haze.First,this paper analyses the enhancement algorithm of histogram equalization which is convenient and dierct,and finds this algorithm may result in the loss of image details,image blurring and other shortcomings.Then it proposes a algorithm combining global and local histogram equalization.The simulation results show that the algorithm can greatly enhance the details of the image, improve the overall clarity,and if this algorithm is used in the HSI color space,the effect is better.Secondly,after simulating and analysising these types of algorithms which are global algorithms,like SSR,MSR,MSRCR in Retinex,it sums up the advantages of MSR algorithm and trys to improve it.The comprehensive algorithm combing global and local Retinex is proposed,which then added to gain compensation.Furtherly,histogram equalization processing is used after the clarity algorithm.Simulation results show that the algorithm can improve the overall image contrast and the problem of fuzzy details, also maintain the image colors better. After that,the algorithm is proved to have good clear effect by two aspects of the subjective quality asseeement and the objective quality asseeement.At last,based on the characteristics of traditional subjective quality asseeement, traditional objective quality asseeement,and human’s visual, the CAF asseeement criteria is introducted.By combining the image quality asseeement and Retinex algorithm,a new image clarity algorithm which based on feedback of quality asseeement is builded. Simulation results show that the algorithm can make a further clarity after initial image processing when the CAF parameters is coverged. |
