With the rapid development of science and technology, the embedded AC servo system has been widely used. Consequently, it is significant to improve the performance and control technology of this system.Based on the laboratory construction project, the experimental platform which is about the embedded digital AC servo system, an ARM and CPLD-based motion controller is de-signed to be used in two modes:Testing Control Strategies Mode and Demonstration Mode. The main contents are as the following:First, all expected functions in two different modes are analyzed and then both the hard-ware and software design are introduced.Second, the hardware design, including power circuit, LPC1754mimium system circuit, communication interface circuit, system protection circuit, RDC circuit, DA circuit,400Hz excitation signal generator circuit, signal isolation circuit, is introduced in details. The printed circuit board is also implemented.Third, the modular idea is used in the software design. The implementation process of400Hz excitation signal generator module, angle information acquisition module, DA module, communication module, input signal generator module, position control module, Touchscreen LCD module and the like are introduced in details. Then the adjustment of the PID control structure and parameters are discussed.Finally, the effectiveness and reliability of the control panel has been verified by testing results.
