Hybrid system is a complex nonlinear system. It contains dynamic part of the continuous variables, discrete event dynamic part, and also contains the interaction between the two interactions. Hybrid systems are common in the actual industrial process. Differential or difference equations using only traditional forms difficult to clearly describe the dynamic behavior of such systems. It also limits the development of appropriate control theory.In this paper,we use of mixed logic dynamic theory to establish a unified model of double-tank system and presents a predictive control strategy.The main contents are:(1) The multi-model PID control strategy of double-tank system is studied. Using the CS4000to simulation the exact hopped-parameter Hybrid system. Based on different parameters type, we designed corresponding PID controller and some simulation was studied.(2) The MLD modeling of the hopped parameters double-tank system was studied. It described the theoretical basis for the mixed logic dynamic modeling. By analyzing the characteristics of the two-hybrid system, the establishment of the double-tank mixed logic dynamic model suitable for the system.(3) The predictive control theory based on the double-tank MLD was studied. Respectively, has some analysis about the performance based on MIQP and MILP. Finally, a simulation study based on linear predictive control strategy for double-tank hybrid system proposed in this paper is given, and also compared with the PID control method.(4) The application of predictive control strategy on the CS4000was studied. We connected the MATLAB toolbox and Siemens PLC-300used OPC interface technology. This realized the real-time control of MATLAB on the CS4000.It put the proposed control predicted from theoretical research to promote the practical application.
