ObjectiveTo develop high performance, easily portable, efficient, and inexpensiveelectrochemical sensor for the determination of the content of pig urineractopamine hydrochloride and clenbuterol. Select accurate results sensorsmeasuring results consistent with the current national standard methods forthe detection of ractopamine and clenbuterol in swine urine, providing a newreference method for the enrichment and development of ractopamine andclenbuterol in meat fast electrochemical detection. Support new detectiontechnology for food safety supervision, testing and other departments.Protect the security and vital interests of the broad masses of the people’slife.MethodsUsing ractopamine hydrochloride and sodium tetraphenylborate formedmolecular association complex as electroactive material, respectivelypreparing a new coated wire polyvinyl chloride membrane-tramadol selectiveelectrode, a new all-solid state ractopamine modified graphene selectiveelectrode; Using clenbuterol iodide and bismuth iodide formed molecularassociation complex as electroactive material, preparing a new solidparaffin clenbuterol modified pasted and graphene selective electrode. Theseelectrodes have been used for the ractopamine and clenbuterol in the pigsimulated urine sample by the standard curve method. ResultThe coated wire polyvinyl chloride membrane-tramadol selectiveelectrode showed Nernst response for ractopamine with a slope of46mV/pCin the concentration range of1.0×10-61.0×10-2mol·L-1. The detection limit is7.9×10-7mol·L-1. The electrode has been used for the determination ofractopamine in the pig urine sample by the standard curve method. Theresults are consistent with the results obtained by HPLC method. The all-solidstate ractopamine modified graphene selective electrode showed Nernstresponse for ractopamine with a slope of52mV/pC in the concentration rangeof2.5×10-61.2×10-2mol·L-1. The detection limit is3.8×10-7mol·L-1. Theelectrode has been used for the determination of ractopamine in simulatedurine sample by the standard curve method. The recovery was98.4%103.9%. The solid paraffin clenbuterol modified pasted and grapheneselective electrode showed Nernst response for clenbuterol with a slope of57mV/pC in the concentration range of1.8×10-61.3×10-2mol·L-1. Thedetection limit is3.2×10-7mol·L-1. The electrode has been used for thedetermination of clenbuterol in simulated urine sample by the standard curvemethod. The recovery was97.2%106.3%.ConclusionThe electrode has fast response, good reproducibility, easy portabilityand cost-effective. It is easy to achieve real-time continuous dynamicmonitoring. The result provide a new reference method for the developmentof rapid electrochemical detection applications in the field of meat safetytesting.
