With the independent innovation and technology upgrading of thepackaging and printing industry, the production speed of advanced enterprisesis faster and the professional skills and experience demand of the technicalpersonnel are higher and higher, the traditional training methods cannot meetthe actual production demand. Virtual training method based on virtual realitytechnology has been obtaining widely attention recently. The virtual learning ofmulti-dimensional information and realistic virtual training environment can bepresented by the virtual reality technology, realizing direct natural interactionbetween the operator and various objects in the virtual scene. Applied to thepackaging and printing equipment can break through the traditional trainingmethod and shorten the training time greatly. It is of great significance to theenterprise to improve the production efficiency, reduce the training costs andensure the safety of the technical personnel.The main content is as follow:1. Based on the die cutting equipment as the main research object, thedatabase design process was stated combined with die cutting processrequirement analysis. The method that using virtual reality technology anddatabase technology to create die-cutting equipment simulation trainingsystem was proposed and methods of realization of each module werepresented to provide theoretical basis for system development.2. Through the demand analysis of the modeling of virtual die-cuttingequipment, three-dimensional modeling of the virtual die-cutting equipmentwas completed by use of solidworks, and through format conversion into3dsMax rendering software, the building and optimization of virtual trainingscenario were realized to complete the construction of the training model. Themethod for the implement of die cutting equipment interactive function wasproposed that combined with simulation and interactive technology. Based onactual operation of die-cutting equipment, the training interaction of die-cutting equipment was realized by use of EON virtual reality software.3.Based on the research of the database design method and informationcollection of die cutting process, data model of die cutting process was setup.Then,the process information were classified, encoded and stored thatusing SQL Server2005to realize the creation of die cutting technology ofdatabase system.4. Through the database access and EON external events communicationmethod, integrated user program interface was established. The die-cuttingequipment simulation training system based on virtual reality technology wasdeveloped to provide new way of virtual training for packaging and printingenterprises.
