As microelectronic technology, microprocessor technology and digital signal processing techniques widely used in radio, radio has entered a new period of development. A shortwave radio is an important telematics equipment in the military field. At present, the conventional HF SSB frequency hopping radio co-exist with the a new shortwave adaptive hopping radio shared, and will continue for a long time. Hopping radio will grow rapidly and become widely used in military communications equipment. This topic research to manufacture is a former radio upgrade, its aim was to design a shortwave digital anti-interference radio in order to enhance communication capabilities.The paper studied the control of shortwave digital anti-interference radio transceiver. It used good VxWorks real-time operating system as the software platform. It uses a priority-based task scheduling strategy to ensure timely and reliable mission-critical perform. It uses low phase noise frequency synthesizer technology to achieve frequency synthesis. And it realized digital radio channel, digital business and automatic control correspondence using DSP technique. It also use frequency hopping spread spectrum(FHSS), adaptive selected frequency, burst communications and other means of communication to enhance the radio’s anti-interference capability.The paper first introduced the short-wave adaptive communications and FHSS communications theory. It put forward a practical scheme according the system requests. It also give a brief introduction of the radio functions of each cell. Then the radio main control unit, front panel unit, multi-business units, remote control unit and antenna tunner unit were designed. And the hardware and software design and implementation of the radio main control unit and remote control unit were described in details.
