Shortwave communications with global suitability and survivability plays a crucial role in the military, disaster relief and emergency communications. In recent years, short-wave radio interference occurs frequently within our country and the surrounding areas. In maintaining the normal order of short-wave communications, China government invested heavily in building up a number of state-level short-wave radio monitoring stations to form a network. By short-wave monitoring, the use of short-wave radio frequency can be planned, technical basis can be employed for the coordination and timely processing of foreign short-wave communication interference complaints, and then safeguards the national legitimate rights and interests. To ensure the effective work of radio stations, stations must ensure good RF conditions around. As far as possible to ensure signals recorded without distortion, each radio station always insists its surrounding physical environment and electromagnetic environment with high demands. Short-wave signals (frequency 30MHz or less) with longer wavelength are more easily to be distorted and thus short-wave stations should have more stringent requirements on the surrounding electromagnetic environment. Radio stations have been built should strengthen its surrounding electromagnetic environment. With the developments of economic construction, electromagnetic environment which around monitoring stations is increasingly reflecting the features of complexity and diversity. When the site no longer had the standard, especially when there are high voltage power lines or railways nearby, the electromagnetic environment around stations change obviously. Currently, "Xiangjiaba~Shanghai±800kV HVDC Transmission Line" as the core of a high-voltage power corridor has been built up, and the State Radio Monitoring Center Shanghai stations are in close proximity, will be bound to evident influence on the electromagnetic environment around and its inherent significant impact to monitoring system. In this thesis, the State Radio Monitoring Center Shanghai station given an opportunity, as an example of this research work carried out this study, which by means of power lines Radio interference field strength tests, short-wave band background noise measurements and ground wave signal test method of the system, focuses on high voltage electricity tower radiation model; active interference of the high-voltage power corridor; passive interference of the high-voltage power corridor and the accuracy measurement of the monitoring system as main four aspects of the research. Through theoretical calculations and experimental results validate to assess the electromagnetic environment effects on the short wave monitoring station which has a high-voltage power corridor nearby, and then to provide a complete theoretical analysis and experimental method as a reference to relative research institutions and industries.
