With the continuous development of the computer game industry, the computer gamehas increasingly become a hot topic that people pay close attention to it extensively, and in thecomputer game there are involves a series of3D graphics technology and knowledge, theseknowledge not only can be used in computer game development process, but also be used ingraphics software and virtual reality applications. An excellent designed and novel game notonly can attract the majority of game player and user, but also the computer technology areworthy of in-depth study and explore, including design and implementation of3D computergraphics rendering engine.This thesis introduces the current three-dimensional computer technology, and it on thisbasis propose the design and implementation of an outdoor scene rendering engine, after theimplementation of the outdoor scene rendering engine and based on it developed a fieldfighting game, completed the simulation of field fighting scene part of a three-dimensionalgame. One of the main research contents of this thesis is to design and implement the outdoorscene rendering engine, it includes the LOD terrain rendering module、the sky box module、the particle effects module、the static model module、the dynamic model module, and as thesame time introduced the current popular GPU programming technology-shader technologyas to above modules, it is used to achieve a variety of optimization results in renderingprocess. The on the base of the design and implementation of the outdoor scene renderingengine this thesis design and implement the most popular PVE play in current3D games,namely the play of role player fighting with more than one creeps in the field, the maincontents of the game includes creeps turn attack NPC which be protected, role player attacksagainst creeps, adaptive response of Creeps attacked by role player, arrows automatically findcreeps, arrows attack effect,challenge final boss and so on. This thesis is aim at through thediscussion of the core part of3D game engine-outdoor scene rendering techniques, and onthe basis of it put forward a whole design idea of an outdoor scene rendering engine and afield fighting game, and then on the basis of the idea develop a specific instance. This thesisalso hope it can provide some reference to the people who love the three-dimensionalgraphics technology an computer games with the work it has done.
