With the advent of the era of knowledge economy and informatization, informationmanagement has become the indispensable work of various sales enterprises.Enterprisescan improve work efficifency and reduce operation costs according to managementinformation system.However in recent years, along with the gradual increase of marketcompetition pressure and further application of the system, the quantity of data whichpeople have increases dramatically, but domestic tools are rarely used for data analysis atpresent.Therefore, it becomes inevitable that data mining technology which is konwledgediscoveried from huge amount data is applied to supermarket management informationsystem.This article mainly introduces and analysize data mining technolog, data miningalgorithm and how to apply algorithms to supermarket management information system,and aims at providing support for a large supermarket chain. Combimed with operationcharacteristics of supermarket industry, this article starts from three aspects: associationrules analysis, sequence analysis and classification analysis, and mainly analysizes andrealized the following tasks: commodity correlation analysis baced on Aproiri algorithm,customer value mining baced on naive bayesian and decision tree algorithm and superketmarket forcast based on sequence analysis. The front desk of system adoptsVisioStudio2008as a development platform, c#as development language,while thebackground uses SQL Server database to store data. In such technology environment, thedata mining technology reasonably and effectively applied to this system, has played alarge role to improve the cross-selling, placement of the supermarket, the supermarketgoods and layout, customer specific classification, product sales forecasts and promotionaladvertising information screening, and ultimately improves the supermarket sales andmanagement benefit.
