The Design And Implementation Of The Personal Loans Business System On The Platform For Mainframe Computers

As the economies of a country or an area develop, the needs of personal loansbusiness are getting more and more. China is now in a period of economic growth, thedesire to buy and the purchasing power of the customers are growing, at the same time,the repayment capacity is increasing, so the amount of this business and the quality ofdata process are increasing too. Sparse distribution is a characteristic of this business, sothe mainframe computer is the key to build an adaptive technology environment for themarket, to increase the efficiency of personal loans business is essential to the banks. Inthe financial field, thanks to the reliability, availability and stability of the mainframecomputers, they can provide the stable services to the banks and investment corporation.Because of the mainframe computers can satisfy the needs of network and integration ofthe personal loans business, the study for the application of the mainframe computers inthe personal loans business systems is indispensable. The development of the finance inChina now is falling behind the developed countries, related industry is still in itsinfancy stage, the amount of needs of people who can use the mainframe computers ishuge.This paper first discusses the domestic and international developments and trendsof the mainframe computers and the basic knowledge of the personal loans business,then introduces the technologies of the COBOL, VSAM, JCL and DB2which are usedin this system, and explains the z/OS system environments. This paper shows therequirement analysis of the system, analyze the use cases in this system by taking theprocess of the personal loans business for instance, and presents the needs of the systemperformance. This paper also shows the framework of the personal loans system, thefunctions of each module and the tables of the DB2database, then progresses everymodules by COBOL language. This paper uses the method of software engineering toaccomplish the design and development of the system by mainframe computers.
