For the retail industry,every day, many shopping malls in the opening every day, organized retailers such aspromotional tool to attract customers, how to improve their competitiveness, how toseize more repeat business, how to enhance their own brand image, enhance theirprofitability is the focus of the majority of businesses together. Issuing membershipcards, membership system is currently used in the majority of retail businesses a way toachieve this goal. Membership card management system is the basic information of theenterprise members, consumption, integration, stored value, promotions and incentivesthrough information management, to merchants and customers to maintain good contactat any time, allowing customers repeat consumption, increase customer loyalty andachieve results growth objectives.This paper is to describe the development of membership card management systemdesign and implementation, the first under the retail research, discusses the role andmembership card management functions. Through the membership card managementsystem design and implementation, including the functions of the system are to beachieved preliminary research work, feasibility analysis, develop a system needsanalysis, and system interface, database design, and finally put the system to achieveand tested.In this paper, the application characteristics and the now popular applicationdevelopment methods, the use of B/S (Browser/Server) architecture using J2EE,currently the most widely used open source framework SSH (Struts, Spring, Hibernate)framework to build the development environment; backend with Microsoft thecompany’s Microsoft SQL SERVER2005database schema design and implement a setof retail membership card management system. Achieved through the system of issuingmembership cards, make cards, retirement cards, deposits, statistical reports, and so aseries of functional modules, thus achieving the membership card management.
