With the development of satellite navigation system, satellite navigation system basedattitude determination technology has gained important achievement. About the GPS basedvector attitude measurement technology, domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot ofresearch and put forward some implementation and excellent algorithms, some well-knowncompany developed the corresponding products for research and verification, and applied topractical attitude measurement.Researches on the key technologies of attitude measurement receiver have been done inthis paper. It mainly includes signal acquisition and tracking, integer ambiguity resolution andattitude calculation. A fast acquisition method based on FFT was used for GPS signalacquisition, an adaptive Kalman filter was used in the carrier tracking loop, and the codetracking loop was assisted by carrier tracking loop, a model based on carrier phasedouble-difference was established to solve the integer ambiguity, and coordinate to calculatethe accurate position of antennas, finally, the principle and algorithm of attitudedetermination using precise antenna coordinate was presented.A multiple antenna attitude measurement hardware platform based on high performanceFPGA and DSP has been presented in this paper. The GPS signals are designed to sample atthe same clock, and then the digital signals are processed at the same time by FPGA and DSP,at last, the carrier’s attitude will be calculated in DSP.Considering the market status of current digital signal processing and the hardwarerequirements of attitude measurement technology, FPGA and DSP are chosen to design themulti-antenna GPS attitude determination receiver. FPGA is used to realize high speed, highthroughput GPS signal acquisition and tracking, DSP is used to solve the complex ambiguityand attitude. The schematic circuit of RF module, baseband signal processing module andattitude measurement module are designed in the Altium Designer. Through the reasonabledesign and careful and orderly welding debugging, the design of attitude measurementhardware platform is completed.Systematic analysis and program design of the key algorithm in multi-antenna GPSattitude determination receiver was conducted in this paper. The GPS signal acquisition andtracking programs were designed in the FPGA and the attitude measurement program wasdesigned in the DSP. This paper analysed the basic method of design and development forFPGA and DSP, and presented the design of the main program FPGA and DSP. Test results show that the attitude measurement receiver works properly. The theoreticalanalysis shows that the attitude measurement methods designed in this paper can calculate thecarrier’s attitude rapidly and precisesly. As the GPS signals are received and processed at thesame clock signal and the same platform, the receiver will has good performance in errorelimination and real-time. The platform is valuable for further study of multi-antenna GPSattitude determination technology.
