| with the problem of anti-terrorism and public safety being increasingly severe, the gunissue has become an primary threaten which may harm people’s life and property, as well asthe stability of the society. Thus, the gun-short locating system has a significantly practicalvalue as to protecting the security of the solider and sustaining the stability among thepublic for it can locate where the gun shot comes from at once.this essay takes gun shot locating as the background, trying to realize the gun-shot software design on FPGA. Initially, it analysis the chracters of Mach wave and detonationwave,the inferring the target location algorithm for the gun shot locating system.Then,webuild a four element array microphone array locating model, inferring the target directionfinding algorithm and we optimize it.transferring the complicated matrix operation to theMACs,making it could operate on FPGA possible.This essay design the gun shot locating system with VHDL,the gun shot locatingsystem including Pulse detection module,Pulse interval timer, Signal discrimination module,Cross-correlation calculation module, Peak detection module and The positioning andcalculation module,while we put emphasis on FFT module and Cordic module.This essayhighlights the designing process of the system,but we also conduct a series of simulationexperiments for the operating speed of the system and its stability.The data shown in theexperiments indicates that the variance can be controlled with3°,and it runs smoothly withresponding speed as fast as15~45ms. More importantly, it makes up the deficiency of DPSwhich can not measure the constant gun short within200ms. |
