Before computer application in all areas of life, course management depend onhand operation. There are many disadvantages course management by hands: lowefficiency, poor security, manually error existence. With the continuous increase incollege students, the student’s course management becomes complex andcumbersome. Therefore, Shandong Tourism College want to develop a convenient,high reliability application systems to facilitate the practical needs of teachers andstudents and release wasting work force.In this thesis, according to Shandong Tourism College students and TourismCollege’s curriculum and characteristics, we use object-oriented analysis techniques todo requirements analysis. Designed by3-tier architecture. SQL Server2008databasework as storage tool. The user interface is finished friendly using the.NET technology.Meantime, ADO.NET also is considered into the design to realize the data controllerinterface. Finally The system finished the function of system management,department management, class management, student information management,teacher management, course management, syllabus management. While testing thesystem with large data, the system can be well applied to practical applications.
