| Radio location technology is an important application area of radio communications technology. It plays an important role in today’s social development. Based on measuring angle of arrival (AOA), time of arrival (TOA), phase of arrival (POA) and received signal strength (RSS) of the singal, a variety location system have been development. One of the most classic location is GPS which is wide area and absolute. However, due to the characteristics of the signal transmitted in the channel, so absolute locations system can not effectively cover the relatively close environment. In order to address this problem, researchers have developed multiple relative and short-distance location system.Short-distance three-dimensional location with multi-antenna is studied in this paper from the following aspects:(1) First, the applications environment of short distance location is researched. The research for environment is basic, it have tremendous impact on the location accuracy and location algorithm;(2) Analyze and study the existing location technology in this paper. Advantages and disadvantages of radio frequency identification, ultra-wideband and Wi-Fi and others location systems are analyzed. TOA, TDOA, AOA, RSSI and so on which are parameters for that location system are compared and study. At the some time, the classic types of location resolution algorithm are described and researched. It is to understand the technology and algorithm of location from basic theory, so leading to an improved location algorithm;(3) An arrival angle estimation algorithm is studied and improved in paper. This algorithm which has high resolution accuracy in far-field is verified by experimental simulation;(4) A location mode which use observation stations scattered, equidistant optical fiber connection, signal processing with central processor is studied. This method can effectively avoid the clock strict synchronization for between different observatories, improved the measurement accuracy of the location parameters. The traditional location Chan algorithm of two-dimensional is introduced to the three-dimensional location of the space. The recursive least squares method be used to improve the Chan algorithm and reduce the computational complexity. Finally, the improved algorithm is verified through simulation results, and analysis the simulation results. The research for Short-distance three-dimensional location with Multi-Antenna of the relative positioning will effectively compensate for the gap and short which is left by the absolute positioning system for indoor complex environment location. It has a guiding significance and application value for explore and study the short-distance location. |
