Section insulator is an insulation device using contact network sub segment of. Electrified railway contact net happens every year several section insulator damage not timely repair and affect the normal operation of railway incident. After failure, takes a lot of manpower and material resources to repair, which seriously affects the electrical railway transportation safety. Based on this problem, the online monitoring system of this project is to design a kind of section insulator of overhead contact system, the system realizes the real-time monitoring of the section insulator, with life warning, fault alarm functions, can be timely to remind the staff slight fault occurs in the section insulator, prevent more accidents, greatly improves the operation safety of electrified railway.This article is through analysis and treatment of video surveillance video for the section insulator, using computer vision algorithms determine the section insulator on the appearance of the dominant fault:frame deletion, fracture, deformation and so on. At the same time with arc occurs when the judge the size and position of arc, judge the recessive fault section insulator. By the number of electric locomotive after statistics to estimate whether reach the limitation of service life, realize the life warning.This project is a branch of railway power supply monitoring system6C. First get the information from the Beijing Railway Bureau, Department of power supply, and then according to the condition of electrified railway and the railway bureau network architecture, analysis and design of the system technical architecture and functional structure, given the overall structure of the system, and then discusses the detailed design of several important modules. Finally, on the basis of the detailed design, this paper gives a further introduction on the implementation of some important modules, gives the realization of the overall effect of the system diagram and important part of the module.The system has been running in Beijing Railway Bureau, initially realized the train through a number of statistics, arc of statistics, fault alarm, warning, equipment life partition management, data query and analysis and rights management and other functions, greatly improving the safety of operation section insulation, and the work intensity of workers reduce. Beijing Railway Bureau as the focus of the pilot unit railway6C system, test the system is running stable will be applied in the railway power supply system.The next focus mainly on system optimization, such as solving the interference problem of the night light, under different weather conditions adaptability, and how this system and other monitoring systems for data exchange and data sharing, and ultimately the formation of a comprehensive and stable utility system.
