| As the main object of the school of information management, student information management largely determines the quality of teaching and management.Therefore, student information management using the computer, a student information database of stability and security, student data management system functions well, are all very important and far-reaching significance to the school management personnel information management and provide convenient and fast information service for students.This paper will design a set of data to the students as the main body of the management information system, basic information management, performance management, curriculum management, course selection management covers the students, the most important is the application of data mining technology, carries on the analysis to the achievements of students, the factors that influence performance, and then change the teaching strategies, teaching effect. The main works are as follows:(1) the student data management work carried out field investigation and careful analysis, proposes the demand design system, and puts forward the detailed design of the system database.(2) according to the college students’ own management characteristics, the system user permissions for different classification, and specifically analyzes the function requirements of users, the basic framework of application system, the design of functional design, work flow design, and interface of each functional module.(3) use the decision tree algorithm in data mining, the result data, survey data were collected from the students, and the data pre-processing, using the techniques of decision tree ID3algorithm and C4.5algorithm are analysis of student achievement data, through the decision tree analysis, dig out the main factors affecting student achievement is based on student and student every time, if you meet these two conditions, so the students basically have more than good.
