| The literature about Liexianzhuan has long been a problem, and thedisputations are complicated, which are about the author of the book and the time ofthe book written. In fact, the book has experienced a development process. LiuXiang wrote a book named Liexianzhuan indeed, and later generations from Hanand Wei Dynasty continued to write, modify it, and finally the book’s form is almostthe same with that we can read it today. Guo Yuanzu from Dongjin Dynasty hadwritten a piece of Zanyu and the preface of the book, Sun chuo from Dongjin,but alittle earlier than Guo’s, also wrote a piece of Zanyu to the book. Because of latergenerations’ modification, there is so much difference about the form of itsliterature. My article discusses the different forms of the book, and situation aboutthe spread of it from the following four inspects.The first chapter researches the writer of the book and the writer of the Zanyuand preface. According to the relevant literature, my article expounds and provesthat Liu Xiang really wrote a book and named it Liexianzhuan, but the Zanyu’swriter of the book is Guo Yuanzu, from Sun Chuo’s Zanyu.The second chapter researches different words about the supernatural beingsfrom others books which quotes the literature of Liexianzhuan. According to therelevant literature, I try to classify the different words, and select the representativecategories as my objects to study, which includes the different titles of the samesupernatural being in one story and the different name of the same place in the samebiography. On these grounds, I hope to find the laws of its spread.The third chapter researches the different description about the supernaturalbeings from others quotation. This chapter is the second aspect literature of thebook, and the different description includes following two categories: different plotsand different details about the same story. I try to distinguish the true literature fromthe false. In view of the above, I want to reveal the different handwriting copies anddifferent editions of Liexianzhuan.The fourth chapter researches the words not written in the book. This chapter isthe third aspect literature of the book, and the words include following three aspects: the misquotation of others books resembling in quality, literature belonging toLiexianzhuan which is scattered and lost and literature left a doubtful point.The conclusion of my article is about the different literature forms. The writerof Liexianzhuan is Liu Xiang, and three volumes of Liexianzhuan is the continuingwriter named Sun Chuo, the writer of the Zanyu is Guo yuanzu, from Sun chuo’sZanyu. The writer of the preface is also Guo Yuanzu. And the three literature formsof Liexianzhuan includes the following aspects: the different words with the bookwe read today, there are two typical categories, including the different titles of thesame supernatural being in one story and the different name of the same place inone biography, the different description about the supernatural beings, there are alsotwo typical categories, including the different plots and different details, theliterature not written in today book, there are three categories, including themisquotation of other books resembling in quality, the scattering and lost literature,and the word left a doubtful point. |
