In the process of internet technology development and innovat ion, the botnet startedto develop toward miniaturization, especially the Semi-distributed P2P botnetscombined with avariety of botnet characteristics. This botnet has extremely concealmentand control ability, it has become one of the most threatening a ttacks platform of theInternet.The network now is a complex network composed by a random network andscale-free networks, instead of a simple random network. And to comply with thecurrent network environment to study botnet, it needs to be analyzed on the basis ofscale-free networks. It has a very important significance of preventing, combating anddetecting botnets, to conduct the research of partially decent ralized P2P botnet inscale-free net work s.This article did the following research on Building Semi-distributed P2P botnetswith scale-f ree network characteristics:1) Consider two factors the immune characteristics and flow blocking, which impactthe botnet building, the article built a botnet propagation model.In addition, thisarticle analyzed and simulated the Matlab to prove this method that to build asemi-distributed P2P botnet in accordance with the characteristics of scale-freenetworks.2) My article proposed a new way to build semi-distributed P2P botnets. And itconsidered the actual network growth and preferential attachment in the buildprocess, which based on the characteristics of infected host nodes, fitness of thebotnet etc, to select the suitable zombie hosts to establish a connection with a newlyinfected host bot.3) My article designed and implemented the prototype of the way to build a no scalesemi-distributed P2P botnet.Experiments show that this build out botnet also has the decent ralized P2P botnetcharacteristics and the characteristics of scale-free networks.
