With the extensive application of information technology in the medical field,the problemthat how to protect medical privacy information of the patients in modern information medical isbecome an urgent need in medical field. Currently, the medical image of tumor patients taken bymedical institutions are directly stored in the database without any security measures. Thismethod has some security risks. As pictures of tumor patients contain the patients’ privateinformation, if been illegally stolen by hackers and other criminals, it will cause many negativeeffects to the patients’ life. Faced with the threat of hackers, privacy protection technologyshould be researched for tumor patients’pictures urgently.The application of removing some objects from an image in the image restoration techniquesgives an ideological considerations that we can remove patients privacy from the tumorpictures which makes the images no longer contain the true condition of the patient. As a result,the patient privacy has been protected. This paper presents a privacy protection method forpatients tumor images based on image restoration techniques.This article first describes the status of the medical privacy and protection, and then analysisof current privacy protection technology and the difference with medical images privacy. Pointedout that the lack of encryption protection technology, and then research and analysis techniquesin image restoration algorithm of removing objects from a picture with CDD algorithm andCriminisi algorithm.Then Criminisi restoration algorithm applied to the proposed privacyprotection method based on pictures privacy separation. Finally, the basic ideas andimplementation of the privacy separation are elaborated. The experimental results show thecorrectness, safety and effectiveness of the method we proposed.
