With the rapid development of information technology, the problem of electronic information security problem has gradually aroused people’s concerns. Considering MIS (Medical Information System) with high sensitivity and privacy, the leakage of them would cause serious effect on patients. The protection of medical information privacy has become a new research focus. The main security protection measures are Data Anonymous, Access Control, Encryption and Signature, Safety Audit, etc.In order to provide a better health service as well as protect the security of the privacy information, we propose a medical information system privacy protection model, which provides data access for different objects based on the original data anonymity. And it is composed of Data Anonymity, Access Control and Privacy Protection Data Query modules, etc.Firstly, we introduce the current situation of the development of medical information security, analyze the main privacy protection technology, and present the shortcomings of the existing schemes. Secondly, we propose a medical information system privacy protection model, and the algorithms of two main modules, which includes multi-level l-diversity model for categorical sensitive attributes and purpose-based access control. Lastly, based on the proposed model and work flow of clinic, we design a medical information system based on privacy protection, which combines information security theory with health service. We illuminate functions of the main modules, emulate the work flow of clinic, and we test the function of privacy protection model.
