In recent years, the development of intelligent transportation systems(ITS) has gradually achieved online information management and service functions through the Internet. With the formation of a large transportation network, public transportation traffic information service provided by intelligent transportation system would like to extend to Internet. At present, although some cities in China built a traffic travel service system, but the systems lack of real-time information dissemination, authority and reliability. The majorities still publish only the form of text-based information, including promotional information, road condition information, road traffic flow information, event information, weather information etc. It’s hard to meet travelers’ needs about real-time dynamic traffic information. From the long-term development about regional road network traffic travel information release. we need a real strong, clear and concise travel information distribution method, to determine the appropriate information dissemination process for regional traffic travel system healthy and orderly development urgent and necessary.From the Internet/mobile devices (e.g., smart phones), Graphical User Interface based travel information distribution system can dynamically get the real-time traffic information from the Application and display on the phone for the end users. Fristly, this thesis describes the characteristics and travel information service classification, discuss the information and the basic principles of graphic elements of travel information service, and analyzes the existing information service system problems, proposes integration ideas combined graphic publishing and graphics editing work. Secondly, based on the graphical techniques, chooses C/S mode to achieve graphical information platform, designs information release and publish system architecture. Finally, based on the smart phone platform, acheives the graphical display of information release, and together with.NET and XML technologies achieves a good graphical information publishing capabilities. This thesis will combine graphics publishing and graphic editing to achieve the integration of information resources for transportation, road network to meet travelers’ needs real-time dynamic traffic information, which improves the real-time travel information dissemination, provides a scientific basis for improving the overall efficiency of travel information dissemination.
