A branch of array signal processing-polarized array signal processing, as widely used in engineering practice and in recent years has been the widespread attention of researchers around the world, and has become a hot and difficult research areas of its applications include aviation aerospace, radar sonar, biotechnology, communications, electronics and other high precision requirements of modern research. Compared polarized array signal processing with other signal processing methods, there are many obvious advantages, high resolution, superior detection performance, good inhibition to noise and interference, so as to achieve the ideal estimation and test results.In this paper, in-depth study in the basic knowledge of the polarization array signal processing, under the conditions of space in the far field, combining theory production of the most widely used practice three kinds of polarized array types:single electromagnetic vector sensor, uniform rectangular polarized array and polarization array of arbitrary structure, proposed a new DOA and polarization parameter estimation methods, minimum norm algorithm. Through theoretical calculations and simulation analysis, that the new polarization array signal processing method not only improve the precision of parameter estimation, inhibit the colored noise, but also reducing the MUSIC algorithm in the huge calculation, greatly reducing the computation time, therefore have an important significance in theory and practice.
