Focus on the temperature control requirement of industrial boiler, a temperature control system which is based on predictive control over boiler superheated steam temperature. Through dynamic matrix control of predictive control algorithm, cascade control is adopted to have an effective control of boiler overheat steam temperature.Through dynamic matrix control of predictive control algorithm, cascade control is adopted to have an effective control of boiler superheated steam temperature. Meanwhile, in order to improve dynamic matrix control algorithm, discussion between robustness and anti-interference of dynamic matrix control algorithm is added together with comparison between convention PID cascade control and vague cascade control of superheated steam temperature and the simulation by MATLAB software.Through simulation, it comes to the conclusion that a temperature control system which is based on predictive control over boiler superheated steam temperature has better control effects. Compared with convention PID control, it has better robustness, anti-interference, control accuracy and stability.
