The superheated steam temperature system has the characteristics of great inertia, great delay and time varying parameters. And former MAC and Smith control method can have good performance in objects with great delay and great inertia. But when the parameters vary, the model mismatch, they both can't get satisfactory results. In this paper, base on the former MAC and Smith control method,we add gray prediction module to the feedback loop, which can predict multiple steps of the feedback,in order to adjust and control the system previously. And for both MAC and Smith control method,we make simulations between the former predictive control method and gray predictive control method. And both of the results show that, compare with former predictive control method, gray predictive control method can have better control results in the systems with the ch(?)racteristics of great inertia, great delay and time varying parameters.
