An acousto-optic Q-switch Yb-doped all-fiber laser based on MOPA structure is developed from theory and experiment in this paper. By studying the principle of fiber coupling acousto-optic Q-switch and analysising Q-switch rise time, the diffraction efficiency and insertion loss influence on Q-switch fiber laser, we have optimized the acousto-optic Q-switch Yb-doped all fiber laser.In the experiment, an acousto-optic Q-switch pulse fiber laser frequency range of20to60kHz of the seed source is achieved and its central wavelength is1064nm.When the incident power is7.52W, we obtained2.53W of output power with63ns pulse width at20kHz while achieved3.03W of output power with205ns pulse width at60kHz.Then we amplified the laser pulse of seed source, a center wavelength of1064nm is obtained, and the pulse repetition frequency in tunable from20to60kHz. The pulse duration in about113ns at repetition rate of20kHz, the output power and peak power is20.3W and9W,respectively. while the repetition frequency is60kHz,207ns of laser pulse,21.1W of output power correspond to1.7kW of peak power was obtain.
