Research And Implement Of Ipman XP Software Based On WinPcap

With the continuous development of computer networks, global information technology has become the trend of current development, data packet interception during network transmission becomes very important. Since every data packet is based on a network protocol, analyzing network protocols plays a very important part in accurate data packet interception. The effects of IPman software on data packet interception and analysis discussed in this article are significant in ensuring healthy and safe network operation.This thesis is based on IPman software developed by WinPcap, this software can help getting the MAC address of the host and other hosts in the sub network, it can also send ARP message and fulfill data capture.First, the thesis achieves the interception of the underlying packet filtering by the open source WinPcap library under the Windows platform, it can design the overall system architecture by means of using the filtering rules. Then the network protocols and the WinPcap related theory and technology is introduced. On this basis, a systematic program is designed and a detailed description for data packet captured by IPman software is fulfilled.Finally, the testing results of the software showed that under the new system, the IPman software can send ARP attack testing data, carry out information statistics. This software can provide the testing environment for ARP message sending and it can also capture the original data packet. What’s more, it can filter data under specified rules and collect statistical information during network communication.
