Value-added service customer information of CMCC Gaoan branch is not included in the management category of core business system. Currently, the value-added service customer information is recorded in the form of spreadsheet, and is under management alone. Total data size is below100K.To change the old inefficient management, we decide to develop a system for customer information management, or CIM for short, which is able to record all data, and support abundant online management functions. With this system, we could do real-time updates and improve working efficiency.Our solution to CIM system is based on ASP and B/S structure, adopts three roles, including administrator, manager and employee, and owns the following functions: customer management, tracking management, sales management, department management, employee management, rights management and log management.This article first introduces the background and significance of CIM system, and related technology which is used in our system. Then it presents the detail of requirement analysis, architecture design, detailed design, safety concern, and operation status.We use ASP to design web pages, and uses IIS environment and Access DBMS as operation platform. Besides, we also use some scripting language, such as VBScript and JavaScript to implement the CIM system.The main features of the CIM system are as follows:practical system functions, stringent detail control, comprehensive safety concern, clean layout design and good user expenence.The system initially implements the fundamental function of CIM, and satisfies the needs of query and management of customer information which are described in requirement document. The result of trial run shows that1) it is convenient and quick to use this system;2) it can improve the efficiency of customer management significantly, and is another upgrade for modern corporation management.
