Nowadays, more and more attention is being paid to the Internet of Things, which provides a favorable opportunity for the development of the Smart Home. Some studies on the Smart Home are mostly based on the functional implementation of special modules or systems, however, human involvement is required to complete these special functions. At the same time, the home gateway is the core device in the smart home system, which can obtain some useful information and control the corresponding nodes based on the home environment. Therefore, to make the Smart Home system learn the user’s behaviors actively and provide services simultaneously, a service algorithm embedded in the gateway is proposed and then a comparison experiment is conducted to validate. The related work can be described as follows:Firstly, a kind of service algorithm based on user behaviors embedded in the gateway is proposed. To begin with, Divide and Conquer method and the Random Process simulation are executed to obtain the couple of intelligent nodes and the Time-Mean. Then the Time Freeness of each node is judged to verify whether or not in its corresponding amplitude range. And then Intersection and Intersection-Union crossover operation in turn can be done. Finally, a behavior assemble based on user’s actions can be acquired. According to the event driving service model, service strategies would be executed on the subjective or objective event type. Meanwhile, the home gateway can be applied to analyze user’s behaviors actively, and supply with normal and exceptional services according to the active event service mechanism.Secondly, to verify the effectiveness of the service algorithm based on user behaviors, we set up an experiment system. The structure of the system consists of the wireless sensor network, the embedded gateway and the software designs of Zigbee communication modules. A Zigbee star network topology is established. The proposed algorithm is validated on the experimental platform. And the experimental results suggest that, compared with CBS algorithm, the service algorithm can supply users with accurate and stable services.
