Following the information technology, software is in widespread use, the software quality is payed more attention. How to take over the competition, save costs and improve software quality, find a tool from the requirement of project participants that can control, predict and reflect project progress is normal or not, this is worthy to resaearch.The content in this article includes:First, from the useage of common requirement management tools to find the data model that the requirement engineering implement and improve continued in the enterprises, to understand the major commercial tools, Rational RequisitePro and DOORs and CaliberRM, also observed the internal and commercial tools developed by the enterprises. Even the tools have their own advantages and disadvantages, but this is proved that tooling and modelling the requirement engineering is needed by the enterprises.Second, look for the data modeling ways from the statistical analysis, through the data collection, data modeling and model validating, find a requirements engineering improvement model based on quantitative management, and establish the three models for predict progress control, defects after product delivery, and customer satisfaction after product delivery.Third, practiced the models in some enterprises to verify and apply the design, achieved success in projects, these proved the models is practicability; The models also proper integrate with the existent requirement management tools and project management tools, got the positive effect.Last, according the different useage of epterprises and collection of the cost, on time delivery, quality and customer satisfaction data, found the enterprise have improved after using the three models.In conclusion, the requirements engineering improvement model based on quantitative management, is an available and scalable data analysis and improvement model, the model can improve the requirement management and project management, also ensuring the project quality by the improvement idea can reduce the cost, improve the development capabilities, on time delivery rate and customer satisfaction.
