Abstract/Summary:
DNA computing is a new calculation paradigm which based on the controllablemolecular hybridization reactions. Its outstanding advantages are shown as parallel computingability and special information storage capacity, which provide a new opportunity for thedevelopment of information security. This paper mainly researches DNA encryption methods, and designs three kinds of encryption schemes based on DNA computing.First, one kind of one-time-pad encryption scheme based on DNA computing isdesigned. One-time-pad cryptography is unbreakable, which possesses the importanttheoretical significance. In this proposed encryption scheme, keys are generated randomly andthe distribution is achieved by PCR technology, which ensures the security and improved theaccuracy.Second, one kind of encryption scheme based on DNA microdots technology isdesigned. In this proposed encryption scheme, a plaintext is encrypted by Vigenerecryptography, and converted into ASCII code. After that the uneven numbers of the ASCIIcode are sent through DNA microdots. Gel electrophoresis technology and DNAanti-counterfeiting technology is applied to judge the microdots. If the microdots are safelysent, the corresponding even numbers would be sent publicly. Otherwise, the above processwill be repeated. It is impossible for an adversary to get the whole ASCII code and decipheredthe Vigenere cryptography. So a plaintext can be safety sent. Finally, one kind of encryption scheme based on recombinant DNA technique isdesigned. The recombinant process of DNA molecules is corresponding to the encryptionprocess, and the separation process of the recombinant DNA molecules and objective gene iscorresponding to the decryption process. In the proposed encryption scheme, a plaintext isstored in a recombinant DNA molecule which is hid into bacteria. The decryption process isdetermined by the bacteria resistances and the reorganizations of the experimental conditions, which ensure the effect of the information hiding.
