| The main structure of this article is established by change process of China’s sports commentary style. This article selected recent30years typical speech records of commentator in TV sports broadcasts as subjects to study, especially successive nine World Cup videos since1978. Based on these videos and other sports communication researchers’ results, this article outlines the change process of domestic sports commentary’s situation. Through analysis of development history of China’s sports commentary, it can be divided into broadcast-like information broadcast stage; narration and simple comments stage and comments dominated stage. Narrative style, narration dominated style and comments dominated styles of different commentary at different times one-to-one correspond with author’s three-stage. This article uses qualitative research methods, through discourse analysis and comparison of commentators’ different commentary styles at different times, indicates the reasons of its changes and points out that at this stage emotion control, knowledge base and entertainment issues of sports commentators. Then base on audience perspective, summary audiences’ new requirements of sports commentators’ words, rhythm, tone and sports broadcast TV camera and indicate the trend of commentators’ business should be Westernized and Personalized. In the end, combine sports broadcast has been getting into Internet times with changes of TV broadcast operations managers’ minds, this article introduces the representatives of contemporary Chinese new commentary style and try to come up with new ideas of China’s sports commentary style’s future development trend. |
