Design And Implementation Of The Management And Analysis System For Traditional Chinese Medical Records

Traditional Chinese medicine is results of practice, summary and creation of past dynasties’ experts through thousands of years, which is good at healing diseases and recuperating health. Traditional Chinese medicine has its specific way in the treatment of disease. Compared to western medicine, it has its own superiority on healing diseases. The traditional Chinese medical records contain the experience of treatment. The summarizing and processing of medical records is one of the most important parts for Chinese medicine researching and the informationization of traditional Chinese medicine, assisting by computers. However, the construction of traditional Chinese medicine informatization is relatively backward. Therefore, the informationization of traditional Chinese medicine is an important task while it is difficult.According to the situation of traditional Chinese medicine workers, the problems of the informationization of traditional Chinese medicine are analyzed and studied in this paper. Processing of ancient archives, the compiling and importing to database of frame language, analyzing the relationship between data and the searching are deeply studied. The main contributions of this dissertation are summarized as follows.First, the medical records are represented in the form of frame language named MedL in order that the computer can understand the records in natural language. The system also analyzes compiles and guides the semi-structured text into the database automatically.Second, the techniques of data mining are used to correlation analysis. The data in the database is mined, exacted and analyzed in order to get some useful information.Third, some auxiliary functions are developed in the system such as the searching, publishing output and so on. These functions can assist the workers in practical working and improve efficiency.Fourth, the management and analysis system published on the Web is built based on the J2EE standard and the B/S structure. The knowledge of the records can be shared using the advantage of the Web.The system involves the representation of ancient archives using the frame theory, the compilation of the language, the data mining on the medical records and the common module JoinQuery for the information displaying and processing modules. The design and implementation of this system promote the informatization of the traditional Chinese medicine.
