ABSTRACT:With the rapid development of the broadband services, such as mobile video; with the rapid rising of the new technology, such as Big Data Processing, The Internet of Things, Cloud Computing and so on. All of this makes the bandwidth of communication network become more and more nervous. Nowadays,10Gbps,40Gbps network has been unable to meet the bandwidth requirements of the new technologies and applications from different fields. All operators will focus on the construction of100Gbps high speed communication network. So the content of this paper is of great significance.’Teaching reform and research on major of communication engineering’is the national education reform project undertaken by Beijing Jiaotong University. The development goals of the project aimed at building a’first-class research’university, optimizing structure of communication major, innovating the mode of talent cultivation, cultivating excellent communication talents for nation. In order to meet the requirements of the construction of the national communication engineering specialty experiment teaching platform, according to the situation of’2013is the commercial year of Chinese100Gbps high-speed optical transmission system, our university started the construction of’experimental platform of optical communication and optical devices’last year. Based on this experimental platform we can research and experiments related to high-speed optical transmission system. This paper is around the work of construction of’experimental platform of optical communication and optical devices’. The main research work and innovation include:1. In this paper gave a detailed analysis of the transmission process of100Gbps optical communication system. And then modeled120Gbps DP-QPSK coherent optical transmission system use OptiSystem and Matlab software. At last gave the results of simulation. On this basis, proposed the solution of constructing this system for our laboratory. The solutions fully comply with the equipment procurement principles of laboratory:The premise is to meet performance, build the system as much as possible to use existing laboratory equipment, and as much as possible to save the purchasing cost.2. According to the characteristic of trend of digital, intelligent in the modern communication system, this paper proposed a carrier phase estimation algorithm based on improved particle swarm optimization (K-PSO), and used Matlab software to simulate, gave detailed analysis from different aspects. The advantage of the K-PSO algorithm is intelligent and scalability. And the K-PSO algorithm has less control parameters. In the part of future prospects of this paper, proposed a carrier phase estimation algorithm combined of K-PSO and Grid and Density-based Clustering. After finish to build our university’experimental platform of optical communication and optical devices’, we can perform back-to-back experiment. In this paper, the proposing of new algorithm is the anticipated effect of using the teaching base.
