With the development of mobile technology and e-learning, mobile learning comes into being, which in researches of theory, technology, and application in both domestic and foreign countries. Besides, smart mobile device also injects new energy to the study and application of m-learning for its unique high-performance, convenience and comprehensiveness. This thesis aims to design and materialize a mobile learning support platform based on the smart mobile device.Existing study shows that the mobile learning based on SMS and WAP mode is simple in its application and low in resource utilization efficiency. Its relative applications are simple in technology and function, which are not well adaptable. Based on smart mobile device, this thesis designs a mobile learning support platform with rich functions through multiple technological integration. The major work and achievements are as follows:1. This thesis points out problems existing in the present study concerned with mobile learning.2. Development is conducted based on smart mobile device of Android system. Meanwhile, key technology involved during development process, such as Jabber, JSON and RSS analysis, will be elaborated.3. Through demand analysis, this thesis presents modules of platform construction and major functions, which contains extracurricular communication and question answering module, immediate interactive feedback module, massage caution module and resource module.4. This thesis presents development environment and well elaborates on realization process of several key functions of the platform. Finally, we conduct test on the platform, provide test index and test result.5. This tests shows that the platform is highly interactive and applicable. It greatly satisfies the need of teaching with its feature of mobile learning. However, aspects such as platform function integrity and multiple-system support still remain to be improved, which provides us materials for future research.
