In recent years, many newspaper groups have been started to research omni-media, indicates that the domestic media in transition into the "all media dissemination stage" as the core proposition, omni-media will become the cutting-edge topic. Evolution from the integration of media, all media model fit the current issue of reform of the Chinese press, it points to a path. More importantly, all the media not only opened the newspaper of the "technical shortcomings" concerns, but also clearly revealed the newspaper media from a single mode to convert all media spread the urgency.Judging from the context of integration, all the paper media have to go through the form of the stage. In this new situation, how make the western region of Newspaper Group to get development, how to achieve gorgeous turn, that’s a new topic, even more a thorny issue; And how to take advantage of new opportunities, breaking down regional barriers, in order to get better promote regional economic development, and that is the important issues of the national economic construction. This thesis is based on this reality needs with theoretical expectations, close contact with key propositions and development trend of the transformation of the newspaper in our country, based on the research orientation of the "Western Regional Newspaper Group", depth study of the transformation of the western region Newspaper Group Media. Concentrate on the global newspaper digitization trend with the practice, closely contact with key propositions and development trend of the transformation of the newspaper in our country, sums up the current reform and practice of the Press Group. Conducted a feasibility analysis of media transformation of the Western Newspaper Group, comprehensive comparison of its advantages/disadvantages and opportunities/difficulties, trying to make omni-media strategy adapt to the western region of Newspaper Group, then put forward three modes of media transformation of the Western Newspaper Group:Sichuan Daily Newspaper Group’s "platform" mode、 Yunnan Daily Press Group "wheeled" mode、the Chongqing Daily Newspaper Group "coaxial cable bundle" mode, take them as examples of the successful experience of transition, trying to distill from the entire western region Newspaper Group omni-media transformation valuable things, trying to sketch a picture of the successful transformation of omni-media. Finally, by analyzing the positive and negative factors, make some initial ideas about omni-media transformation from build the content bank system, layout omnil-media communication system, process reengineering and other aspects of omni-media transformation, further generalize Western Region Newspaper Group of omni-media transformation path. Research the pathways of transformation about the Western Newspaper, hoping to provide some ideas for the researchers and managers of the western newspaper, so as to improving and perfecting the Press environment; By contrast, learn and innovation in practice, in order to catch up with the eastern region. Finally, by analyzing the positive and negative factors, make some initial ideas about omni-media transformation. Research the pathways of transformation about the Western Newspaper, hoping to provide some ideas for the researchers and managers of the western newspaper, so as to improving and perfecting the Press environment; By contrast, learn and innovation in practice, in order to catch up with the eastern region.
