Wireless sensor networks(WSNs) are composed of a multitude of locomotive sensor nodes through self-framework and multi-hop wireless links to interact with each other. The network has been amalgamating to the cause of military, environment, medical care and other commercial areas with the advancement of sensor technology, low-power electronics, and low-power radio frequency design recent years. Yet in light of affect of the WSN’s features on the applying process, how to protect location privacy of these sensitive objects becomes an exceedingly crucial research field.The paper first introduces the basic architecture and features of Wireless Sensor Networks, meantime analyzes the major security threat the WSN is confronted with. Summarizing the Sink—Location privacy issue, the paper gives an introduction of location privacy protection, which involves, such as, massive of strategies about the guard, pointing out their characteristics in safety performance and energy control as well as ascertaining the direction of Sink—Location privacy shield.Some of the existing wireless sensor network routing protocols about the Sink location privacy only concern security cost, not taking energy issues into account, and the security routing protocols cost too much. In order to solve the problem, we thus propose a Ring Based Routing scheme to preserve sink-location privacy with strong privacy preserving ability, Which include ring route and routing between ring routing, and ring routing constantly changing. Meanwhile,we fully use extra energy in non-hotspot regions to create more anonymity sink which does not only improves the network privacy status but also optimizes network energy resource utilization, gains in importance. We provide extensive theoretical analysis to confirm the strong privacy preserving integrity of our scheme-that of the solid resilience to a variety of serious privacy threats as well as well as prolonged network lifetime.
